Global Exchange Market on March 1, oil futures price has increased
The world’s leading futures exchanges, the price of oil has increased. According to the data of RBC-Agency, March 1, the results of the trading session in London InterContinental Exchange Futures -  oil futures on the IPE Brent Crude price rose by 115.42 (+3.62) USD, New York – New York New York Mercantile Exchange - -the oil is Brent Crude futures prce increased by 99.63 (+2.66) U.S. Dollars.

Batumi Oil Terminal Handles 814 237 Tons of Oil Products in January-February 2011
Batumi Oil Terminal handled 814 237 tons of oil products in January-February 2011, down 45 percent compared to the same period of 2010 (1.184 million tons in January-February 2010).
Batumi oil terminal handled 453 418 tons of oil products in January 2011 and 360 819 tons in February 2011.
Batumi oil terminal transported 722 347 tons of crude oil, 35 179 tons of petrol,  16 556 tons of diesel, 2 167 tons of kerosene and 29 907 tons of other fuel.
Batumi Oil terminal handled 6.115 million tons of oil products throughout 2010.

Georgia's Gas Extraction Volume Made up 8 million Cubic Meters in 2010
Georgia's gas extraction in 2010 made up 8 million cubic meters and the state budget received 2.8 million cubic meters, says Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC).
Canargo and Gindal Petroleum Ltd carry out gas extraction works in Georgia.

LLC Many to Acquire Krtsanisi Well Gas for 210 USD per 1000 Cubic Meters
LLC Mani will acquire the Krtsanisi well gas for 210 USD per 1000 cubic meters for period of one year after the company won the tender, Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) says.
The starting price stood at 220 USD and the step equaled +5 USD.
LLC Gindal Petroleum ltd (Georgia) and LLC GOGC are authorized to manage the Krtasnisi well gas.
A trilateral agreement between the winner, corporation and Gindal will be included in the near future.

Energy Efficiency Center Georgia to Take Part in European Sustainable Energy Week in Tbilisi
Energy Efficiency Center Georgia plans to take part in the European Sustainable Energy Week as part of Sustainable Energy Days of Georgia scientific and technical conference, which will be held on April 11-15.
Representatives of scientific circles, donor organizations, corresponding ministries and nongovernment sector will take part in the conference.
Moreover, the conference will name winner in Energy Efficiency and Renewal Energy Sources competition.

Dow to invest $100 million in energy efficiency
The Dow Chemical Company announced plans yesterday to invest $100 million to improve the energy efficiency of its operations and cut greenhouse gas emissions.
US chemical, agricultural and manufacturing giant based in Michigan said it is looking at 60 proposals submitted by its business units.
In total, the proposals would cost over $500 million to implement but cut more than 8 trillion BTU if energy use and over 400,000 metric tons of carbon emissions.

ETI to develop model of UK’s tidal energy resources
The Government-backed Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) has announced plans to develop a model of the UK’s tidal energy resources and how they might interact with each other.
The Tidal Modelling Project is looking for participants to put forward proposals that would investigate different tidal energy extraction systems around the UK and how extraction at one site might affect others.
The £450,000 project will encompass both tidal stream, which extracts energy from the passing tide, and tidal range, which traps tide waters in a barrage or lagoon before releasing them.

“We Help Georgia to Preserve Nature”
Mr. Goga Khachidze, Minister of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Shonvadze, Head of Agency of Protected Areas and Mr. David Morrison, Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) signed up the Grant Agreement at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia.
"We have recently signed up many agreements related to protected areas and a lot of projects have been started. As the issue of Agency of Protected Areas to transfer it into another ministry is going to be discussed at the Parliament and if this issue finishes so, then they will have too much work to do as there are already many project began," said Mr. Goga Khachidze, Minister
