Google's Solar Flair: $94 Million Investment in PV Projects

After Google announced the phase out of its REC initiative last month, some in the press drew the conclusion that the tech giant was pulling out of renewables altogether. Climate Change

Benefits of U.S. emission rules outweigh costs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) last week issued tough standards to slash mercury and toxic air pollution like arsenic, acid gas, nickel, selenium, and cyanide emissions from coal and oil-fired power plants. The first-ever Mercury and Air Toxics Standards will protect millions of families and children from harmful and costly air pollution, and provide the American people with health benefits that far outweigh the costs of compliance.

Climate big picture - no reason not to act

When discussing climate science and looking at individual pieces of evidence and common myths, it's easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees. To respond to this challenge Skeptical Science - getting skeptical about global warming skepticism - has updated its Big Picture page. The big picture is that we know the planet is warming, humans are causing it, there is a substantial risk to continuing on our current path, but we don't know exactly how large the risk is.
