INVESTIGATION ON NONSTATIONARY FLOW IN CYLINDRICAL CHANNELS OF CIRCULAR CROSSSECTION

The primary problem of unsteady flows' study is calculation of hydraulic losses. A formula for calculation of hydraulic losses in unsteady pressure motion has been presented in the present work. To evaluate each term of the formula and perform calculation of energy loss it is necessary to study structural changes running in unsteady flows. The present paper presents the results of investigation of unsteady laminar flow of viscous fluid in a cylindrical pipe of circular crosssection. Integrating the differential equation of axialsymmetric pressure flow of viscous fluid regularities of hydraulic parameters change in general boundary and initial conditions have been obtained. On the basis of general solutions fomulae for calculation of hydraudynamic parameters of unsteady pressure flow when the pressure gradient is changed instanteneously. Computeraided experimental study graphs were plotted for instanteneous change of velocity, shearing stresses, average velocity of the flow, coefficients of momentum and kinetic energy. According to the results of calculations conclusions have been drawn on the nature of structural changes and formation of hydraulic losses.

The issues of collectingrunning, cleaning and flowing polluted surface water formed from the water collection areas through water drainage systems in the cities located on the seaside when they are affected by the gale force waves (to be conducted at both project and exploitation stages) according to mainrequirements of the city construction and sanitaryhygienic norms are reviewed.
